On an annual basis, crude oil imports were up 13%, from 18.89 million tons in July last year, data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell showed.
* Imports of crude oil products fell nearly 2% to 2.53 million tons in July from June and fell over 40% from a year ago. Product exports rose over 8% to 5.03 million tons annually.
* India’s fuel consumption in July rose about 3% from the previous month to 19.92 million metric tons, its highest level since March.

* LPG imports ticked lower to 870,000 metric tons in July from 1.02 million tons in the previous month, while fuel oil imports rose month-on-month to 233,000 metric tons, and were down from 530,000 metric tons in July last year.

* Petrol exports last month were 6.7% higher year-on-year and diesel exports were up nearly 9% during the same period.
