Each Temple will be hand-made to order and delivered within three months of purchase, Goyal wrote.
Temple is a head-worn device that tracks blood flow and oxygenation inside the brain. Goyal, who stepped down as Eternal CEO in February, had said in August that pre-orders for a limited launch edition would open soon.
“Temple is now less than half the size of what you’ve seen so far. Volumetrically, Temple is now the smallest wearable on the market, and the most powerful. Living and training with Temple is going to change your life,” Goyal had said in a post then.
In May, he announced early access for the first 100 units, aimed at athletes, scientists, founders and doctors.
ET reported on July 27 that Temple is expected to price its debut health wearable at Rs 75,000-80,000, targeting premium consumers. This will include a lifetime subscription to its health platform and a lifetime supply of medically approved adhesive tapes used to wear the device.
