Deepinder Goyal’s Temple opens waitlist; applicants see a price of Rs 85,000

Zomato founder and Eternal vice chairman Deepinder Goyal has opened the early-access waitlist for Temple, his brain-monitoring wearable venture. Applicants say the device is shown at Rs 85,000.

Multiple people who entered the waitlist posted screengrabs on X, which shows the price of the device. Interested users have to apply through the official website, sharing details about themselves, their work and what they expect from the device. Goyal has said the company will personally pick people who can give meaningful feedback.

Pre-orders will open on November 1. ET reported on July 27 that Temple is expected to price its debut health wearable at Rs 75,000-80,000, targeting premium consumers. This will include a lifetime subscription to its health platform and a lifetime supply of medically approved adhesive tapes used to wear the device.

Temple is a head-worn device that tracks blood flow and oxygenation inside the brain. Goyal, who stepped down as Eternal CEO in February, had said in August that pre-orders for a limited launch edition would open soon.

Each Temple will be hand-made to order and delivered within three months of purchase, Goyal said earlier this week. The limited launch edition is expected to ship before the end of 2026.
