Globally, Prime Day 2026 will be held in June across Austria, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Meanwhile, Prime members in India and other countries like Australia, Brazil, and Japan will get access to Prime Day deals in July.
The company highlighted that in 2025 it recorded its fastest delivery speeds for Prime members in India, with over 55 crore products delivered either the same day or the next, marking a 40% year-on-year rise.
Further, talking about its quick commerce service Amazon Now, the company said that Prime members get exclusive offers such as free delivery and cashback when shopping on it.
“In India, members get delivery within minutes on Amazon Now in select cities, free unlimited same-day delivery on 10 lakh products, next-day delivery across 40 lakh products, and 4-hour delivery on over 40,000 top-selling products,” the company added.
The announcement comes shortly after Amazon India said it will expand Amazon Now to 100 cities supported by more than 1,000 micro-fulfilment centres. At present, the service operates in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with around 300 such centres already in place.
The company recently committed an additional Rs 2,800 crore to strengthen its infrastructure and operations in India, as part of its earlier pledge to invest $35 billion by 2030. A portion of this new funding will be used to double the reach of Amazon Now.
During Amazon’s March quarter earnings call, chief executive Andy Jassy said that Amazon Now’s orders are increasing 25% month-on-month.
On Thursday, Amazon reported operating revenues of $23.9 billion for the quarter ended March 31, compared to $18.4 billion in the same period last year. The growth was driven by Amazon Web Services outperforming analyst expectations.
