Chhattisgarh and Haryana were the only two States nominated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for the inaugural Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026.
In just three days, the State secured an INR 41,750 crore AI-ready data centre campus, signed a skilling MoU with ITE Education Services, Singapore, and explored partnerships with Gardens by the Bay and Mandai Wildlife Group, according to a press release issued by the Chief Minister’s delegation on Wednesday.
The delegation returned to Raipur on Tuesday from Singapore.
The largest commitment came from Singapore -headquartered Energy Capital Global (ECG), which will develop a 100 MW AI-ready data centre campus in Chhattisgarh worth INR 41,750 crore.
Sunstream Green Energy Pvt Ltd received an Invitation to Invest worth INR 1,500 crore for a 300 MW solar project with battery storage.
Valency International Pte Ltd, a global agribusiness group operating in 22 countries, received an Invitation to Invest worth INR 350 crore for an integrated Agro and Food Processing and Export Hub, building a farm-to-market value chain in the State.These investments open opportunities across the board. Young professionals will find careers in AI, high-tech digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing, the release said.
Startups and MSMEs will gain business as suppliers and partners to global companies, and farmers will reach international markets, it said.
To prepare youth for these industries, the State signed an MoU with ITE Education Services for technical and vocational education and training, building industry-aligned curricula and stronger pathways to employment.
At the SING Forum, organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Chhattisgarh presented its growth story.
The Forum was attended by Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore; Mark Lee, Chairman, SBF; Kok Ping Soon, CEO, SBF; and senior leaders from Mastercard, Nestle and IHCL (Taj Hotels).
In a fireside chat, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is leading the way in reforms driven by industry needs, with every investment aimed at creating employment across the State.
The Chief Minister called on Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Singapore, and discussed deepening India-Singapore ties at the State level, including cooperation in investment, skilling, urban planning and technology.
He also led a CEO Roundtable with leaders from over 15 global companies, including TCS, SMBC, Tolaram Group and Agrocorp.
Meetings with Gardens by the Bay and Mandai Wildlife Group opened new avenues for green development and tourism.
Learnings from Gardens by the Bay will help develop botanical gardens in Nava Raipur and greener spaces across the State. Mandai discussed partnering to make Nandanvan Jungle Safari, Asia’s largest man-made jungle safari, a world-class wildlife destination, boosting tourism and creating new jobs.
“This visit has shown the world that Chhattisgarh is ready for global investment, and we return with commitments, partnerships and a clear path forward,” said Chief Minister Sai.
