India’s wealth-creation landscape is evolving, and with it, the need for more informed financial decisions. Against this backdrop, ET Wealth Expo 2026, the inaugural wealth gathering by The Economic Times, will bring together ultra high networth individuals (UHNIs), HNIs, family offices, founders, CXOs, investment leaders and retail investors for a two-day event at NESCO, Mumbai. Designed to examine the forces shaping wealth creation, the expo will combine Main Stage conversations, expert-led Masterclasses and exhibitions, organised around six pillars of the wealth journey.
India is entering a period of significant financial transition. As savings increasingly move into investments, wealth creation is becoming a more diverse and participatory process. Entrepreneurs are building businesses, professionals are accumulating capital, and families are reassessing how wealth is managed across generations. At the same time, the country is approaching one of the largest intergenerational wealth transfers in its history. These developments are creating new questions not only about how wealth is created, but also how it is preserved, transferred and made to serve long-term goals.
In this changing environment, access to information is only one part of the equation. Investors and wealth creators also need credible perspectives, informed conversations and a clearer understanding of the opportunities and risks shaping financial decisions. ET Wealth Expo 2026 is conceived as a platform to bring these conversations together, connecting the different stages of the wealth journey with the people and institutions influencing it.
The expo’s six pillars – Build, Grow, Protect, Legacy, Freedom and Future – will provide the framework for these discussions. From creating and compounding capital to managing risk, planning succession and preparing for financial independence, the pillars reflect the interconnected decisions that define modern wealth management. They also recognise that wealth is not a single destination, but an ongoing journey shaped by changing priorities, responsibilities and opportunities.
Over two days, the event will bring this framework to life through three complementary formats. Main Stage conversations will examine the larger trends and ideas influencing India’s wealth ecosystem. Masterclasses will offer deeper engagement with specific strategies and areas of financial planning. Exhibitions will provide an opportunity to explore the institutions, solutions and ideas supporting the wealth-creation journey.
For investors, the expo offers a space to learn different viewpoints that can help them plan their finances better. For wealth creators, family offices and investment leaders, it offers a forum to exchange ideas and understand the evolving priorities of affluent India. Together, these conversations aim to make the wealth ecosystem more accessible, connected and relevant to the choices that people and families need to make.
The introductory series that follows will explore each of these elements in greater detail from the six pillars to the Main Stage, Masterclasses and Exhibitions, offering a closer look at the conversations and opportunities that will define ET Wealth Expo 2026.
