US lawmaker Lauren Boebert kicked out of theatre for 'laughing, singing loudly'

New Delhi: In an interesting turn of events, Republican US representative for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district, Lauren Boebert was escorted out of a theater performance for causing disturbance on Sunday.
According to Fox News, representative Boebert along with another patron was asked to leave the Buell theater in Denver during ‘Beetlejuice‘ musical performance after the authorities received several complaints against her for causing disturbance during the performance by laughing, singing, recording and vaping.
The two were reportedly given warnings during intermission and the authorities received three complaints from the attendees.
According to Fox news’ report, the security received another complaint about the patrons, five minutes into the second act.
Talking about the incident, one of the ushers said that the two patrons refused to leave the theater after the security tried to escort them out. The usher further said that when the security told them that they were going to call the police, the patrons told the security toa ” Go get them”.
While Boebert and the other patron were not identified in the report, the Congresswoman confirmed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she was guilty.
“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud,” she posted. “Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week, and please let me know how it ends!”
According to the report on Fox news, Boebert’s campaign manager, Drew Sexton, also said that Boebert denied vaping, though she did take a photo of the performance with her cellphone, claiming she did not know photos were not permitted.
“I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’” Sexton told.
According to the report, the two patrons were escorted out and resisted leaving, saying things like “do you know who I am,” “I am on the board,” and “I will be contacting the mayor.”
