NEW DELHI: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s separate biographies on the official website of the royal family have undergone a refresh. Previously separate, their individual bios have now been merged into a single profile – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
This update reflects the couple’s unified status following their departure from senior royal roles and their joint endeavors since then. The royal family’s website serves as a source of updates and information on the family’s activities and members, ensuring accuracy and relevance for visitors.
The combined webpage now says, “As announced in January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back as working members of The Royal Family. The couple married in St George’s Chapel, Windsor on 19 May 2018 and have two children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.”
Since their departure from senior royal roles, Prince Harry and Meghan now reside in California with their children. Due to their changed status, they are no longer able to use certain titles or the term ‘royal’. Consequently, their Sussex Royal Instagram account has been inactive since March 2020.
Despite this, the couple has remained active with their own initiatives. They founded a charity called Archewell and are developing a Netflix series based on their love story. Additionally, Prince Harry authored a book titled ‘Spare’, while Meghan launched a podcast named ‘Archetypes’ and recently introduced a new lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard, featuring products like cookbooks, dishes, and natural jams.
