Pictures obtained by Post show Middleton sitting in the passenger seat of an Audi, being driven by her mother, Carole, near Windsor Castle. She tried to maintain a low profile by wearing sunglasses and sporting a slight smile. Kensington Palace has been contacted for comment on the matter.
This come after the speculation of the princess’ whereabouts with social media filled with people wondering ‘where is Kate Middleton’ following which Kate Middleton’s spokesperson had issued a statement saying that, “Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant.”
News of Kates’ surgery came out on January 17 about a planned abdominal surgery when it was also told that the princess would be hospitalised for two weeks and then recover at home. It was also said that she’ll not perform any royal duties until Easter.
Meanwhile, Middleton’s husband, Prince William, withdrew from attending a memorial service for his godfather, Greece’s late King Constantine II, on February 27, citing a “personal matter.” This fueled speculations, but the palace assured that Middleton was “doing well” in the same statement. After spending 13 days at the London Clinic in January, Middleton returned to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to continue her recovery alongside William and their children.
