NEW DELHI: Human rights organisation Asylum Aid on Tuesday said that it had filed legal action against the UK’s policy of relocating asylum seekers to Rwanda.
In a statement, the group declared, “Asylum Aid has filed a claim in the High Court challenging the Home Office’s ‘Safety of Rwanda’ guidance,”
The organisation had previously indicated its plans to pursue such legal action against the government’s controversial policy.
