LONDON: A Brazilian national who had murdered a 27-year-old woman from Hyderabad at an apartment in London’s Wembley area on June 14 last year will be sentenced on Thursday.
Keven Antonio Lourenco De Morais, 25, had stabbed Tejaswini Reddy Kontham and her flat mate Akhila (28), hailing from Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana. Tejaswini died before the emergency services officials reached the spot on being informed, while Akhila was rushed to hospital with grievous injuries.
Tejaswini was sharing a flat with three other women known to her.The accused had reportedly moved into another room with his girlfriend just a week before the murder, and Tejaswani had barely spoken to him.
