Indian student dies due to cardiac arrest in Canada; family seeks EAM Jaishankar's assistance



NEW DELHI: The family of Indian student who passed away in Canada is seeking assistance from External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to bring his mortal remains back to Hyderabad.
Shaik Muzammil Ahmed, studying in Canada, passed away unexpectedly due to cardiac arrest. Ahmed, 25, was pursuing a Masters in IT at Conestoga College in Kitchener City, Ontario.
Amjad Ullah Khan, a leader of the Telangana-based political party Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), shared the news on social media.According to Khan, Ahmed was “suffering from fever since last one week, but his family received a call from his friend that he died due to cardiac arrest today. On hearing this news his parents and entire family is in a state of shock and request you to kindly ask @HCI_Ottawa &
@TorontoCGI to send his mortal remains back to Hyderabad as soon as possible.”

Previously, MBT leader Khan had also highlighted the incident involving Syed Mazahir Ali, an Indian student who was brutally attack in Chicago.
