MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday told Chinese leader Xi Jinping, who arrived in Moscow earlier for his first visit since the Ukraine conflict, that their countries shared many goals.
“We have plenty of common tasks and objectives,” Putin told Xi, adding it was “symbolic” that the Chinese leader chose to travel to Russia for the first foreign visit of his new term.
