Digital healthcare platform Tata 1mg has entered into an exclusive partnership with healthcare and research company Vitonnix UK to launch a portfolio of healthcare products, Tata 1 mg said on Tuesday.
The first product is vitamin sublingual sprays which enable rapid absorption of vitamins, according to the company.
Saurabh Goel, vice president – category management at Tata 1mg, said, “These (products) will empower individuals to take charge of their health in innovative ways.”
The first launch will be followed by other products in the health and wellness space, the companies said jointly.
The online pharmacy’s revenue from operations went up to Rs 1,627 crore in FY23, from Rs 627 crore in FY22, according to filings in the Registrar of Companies. Losses, however, widened to Rs 1,254 crore. Over a fourth of its revenue was contributed by sale of medicines, with diagnostics, tests and other services accounting for the rest.
