To begin with, Jupiter is allowing RuPay credit cards issued by AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and a bunch of other lenders. The company believes that with its superior payment settlement technology, its customers will be able to use their RuPay credit cards for instant payments on the app.

Jupiter is offering multiple UPI payment methods to its users, from scan and pay at offline retailers to peer-to-peer transactions. The fintech recently launched a co-branded RuPay credit card in partnership with CSB Bank that is available exclusively on the app.
“UPI has seen immense adoption and is India’s most preferred way of spending. With NPCI enabling RuPay credit cards on UPI, it is set to increase the adoption of RuPay credit cards in India,” said Nitin Pulyani, head of product – payments, at Jupiter Money.
In September, the Jupiter app helped settle more than 4 million UPI transactions, worth more than Rs 529 crore.
