Infibeam Avenues board approves rebranding to AvenuesAI

Fintech company Infibeam Avenues, which runs the CCAvenue payment gateway, is planning to change its name to AvenuesAI as it centres its business around artificial intelligence (AI). The company’s board has given in-principle approval for the rebranding, which is still subject to regulatory approval.

The company aims to reposition itself from being a payments and ecommerce infrastructure provider to an AI-led digital payments entity. “AI is no longer an enabler; it is central to who we are and what we are building,” joint managing director Vishwas Patel said in a statement, explaining the rationale for the new name.

Infibeam Avenues is using AI tools across its stack for tasks such as transaction authorisation, routing, fraud detection, credit scoring and building platforms for banks and enterprises.

The company said the AvenuesAI rebranding is meant to signal this shift to investors and customers and to align with its product roadmap under the CCAvenue banner. It added that AI-driven digital payments companies are a segment that has seen faster growth and better margins thanks to automation and analytics driving productivity.

Infibeam operates in markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, the US and Oman, where it works with some of the largest local banks. As per the statement, the company’s revenue shot up 84% on a half-year basis in the first half of FY26, while total payment volume increased 26% year on year.

Post-rebrand, it will continue to use CCAvenue as its flagship payments brand and offer the same suite of digital payments and fintech products.
