Mehrotra has over 35 years of experience in executive roles across sectors such as FMCG, telecom, and education.
Prior to joining Aakash, he was the MD at Ashirvad Pipes and has also worked at Pearson India, Bharti Airtel, Coca-Cola, and Asian Paints.

ET reported on March 28 that AESL had dropped plans for any potential return of Aakash Chaudhry – the promoter of the coaching business unit.
It was a significant departure from the earlier stand of the promoters being in talks with the company to come back at the helm of affairs to run daily operations.
