Maruti Suzuki Jimny

MARUTI HAS FINALLY answered the prayers of off-road enthusiasts waiting for Jimny. It should come as no surprise then that Jimny registered 9,000 bookings in just one week. Though India gets a 5-door version, Maruti Suzuki has retained the off-roader’s adventuristic features, along with a dose of practicality; the more spacious cabin makes it enjoyable for all family members. Jimny will be sold in two trims, Zeta and Alpha, while being powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine (105 PS/134.2 Nm) with idle engine start-stop tech. Apart from its lowrange transfer case, the regular transmission set-up will include a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic gearbox.
