According to the DBT Agriculture Bihar website, “Farmers whose bank account is not linked to Aadhaar and NPCI i.e. not DBT Enabled, those farmers should immediately go to the post office and get a DBT Enabled bank account opened in India Post Payment Bank (IPPB).”
In order to receive the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, beneficiaries are required to have their eKYC completed. How to link a bank account with Aadhaar through SMS?
If the mobile number is already registered with SBI, send an SMS to 567676 with the following information: UID Aadhaar number and Account number.
An SMS response will be sent if the mobile number is not registered or if the Aadhaar is already linked to the account.
You will receive an SMS confirmation of the seeding request if your mobile number is already registered with the bank.

For linking, an SBI customer can go to any branch with a copy of their Aadhaar number or e-Aadhaar.
Submit a request letter at the branch, along with a photocopy of the Aadhaar letter.
The branch will do the appropriate verification before linking. An SMS will be sent to the customer’s registered cellphone number informing them of the status of the connection.
How to complete the e-KYC process
Step 1: Visit PM Kisan’s official webpage https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2: Click on the e-KYC option available on the right side of the page
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar Card number, and captcha code and click on search
Step 4: Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card
Step 5: Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP in the specified field.
If all the details match, eKYC will be completed; otherwise, it will be marked as invalid. You will need to contact the local Aadhar Seva Kendra in this scenario.
