NPS partial withdrawal: New rule, who can apply explained - NPS partial withdrawal


The subscriber should meet the following prerequisites for a partial withdrawal under the aforementioned PFRDA rules.

The subscriber’s NPS account has been updated with information regarding their active bank account. Online bank account verification should be enabled for the subscriber’s bank.
The request must be submitted by the subscriber using OTP authentication or eSign. To obtain OTP as part of OTP Authentication, the Subscriber’s valid mobile number and email address need to be registered in CRA. Otherwise, the Aadhaar-registered mobile number must be active to get OTPs as part of eSign, and the name on file with the CRA and Aadhaar must be identical.
