Rundown of events
The EPFO on its website stated on January, 18, 2023 that “The e-passbook facility will be available from 5pm onwards”. On the main page of the EPFO portal it stated: Member Passbook Portal shall not be available on account of Tecnical Maintenance related issue.How to check e-Passbook

How to check EPF e passbook through website
Step 1: Visit the EPFO portal.
Step 2:Click on the ‘Our Services’ tab and choose the “For Employees” option from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Click on ‘Member passbook’ under the “Services” option.
Step 4:There will be a login page. Once activated, enter your UAN number and password here.
Step 4: Choose “Member ID” and then “View Password from the menu.
Step 5: After this, your PF details will be displayed on the screen.
How to check EPF e passbook through UMANG app
Step 1: Open Umang App and click on EPFO tab
Step 2: Click on ‘employee centric services’
Step 3: Click on ‘view passbook option’
Step 4: Enter your UAN and one time password.
According to the EPFO website, here are important points to note:
1. This facility is to view the Member Passbook for the members registered on the Unified Member Portal.
2. Passbook will be available after 6 Hours of registration at Unified Member Portal.
3. Changes in the credentials at Unified Member Portal will be effective at this Portal after after 6 Hours.
4. Passbook will have the entries which has been reconciled at the EPFO field offices.
5. Passbook facility not be available for the Exempted Establishments Members / Settled Members / InOperative Members.
