Rising Fed rates, other idiosyncratic risks led to US and Swiss banking crisis: RBI Guv

While attending CII’s annual session on Wednesday, May 24, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das said that change in interest rates or pausing rate hikes is not in his hands as the revision depends on external and internal factors. He also added that the recent bank turmoil in US, and Switzerland was due to rising Fed rates, unrealized losses and other idiosyncratic risks
