The 54th meeting of the GST Council, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and comprising state ministers began on Monday. The Council is expected to discuss several key issues, including insurance premium taxation, recommendations from the Group of Ministers on rate rationalization, and an update on online gaming, according to PTI sources.
