India’s first half performance “stands out amid global headwinds” with the highest-ever quarterly exports in both the first and second quarter of FY26.
“India recorded its highest-ever quarterly exports in both the first and second quarter of FY26, culminating in the highest-ever export performance for the first half of any financial year,” the ministry said.
Taken together, India’s exports in the first half of FY26 were $418.9 billion, up from $395.7 billion in the same period of FY25, reflecting a growth of 5.86%. This marks the highest-ever H1 export performance for the country.
In the April-June quarter, India’s overall exports reached $209 billion.
