China will impose anti-dumping duties on imports of halogenated butyl rubber from India, Japan and Canada after concluding a probe into alleged dumping, the Ministry of Commerce of China said on Friday, according to Reuters.
It added that tariffs of up to 30.1% will be imposed on shipments from Japan and Canada starting March 14.
The anti-dumping measures will remain in place for five years, the statement said.
Halogenated butyl rubber is widely used in manufacturing tyre inner liners and other industrial rubber products.
More to come.
