Reliance Industries Limited managing director Mukesh Ambani on Friday announced Jio will complete its rollout of G to cover every town and village in Uttar Pradesh in 10 months — by December 2023. “We plan to pilot two new initiatives — Jio School and Jio AI doctor– most affordably to villages and small towns across in UP. Reliance Retail will revolutionise thousands of kiranas in the state,” Ambani said enumerating Reliance’s commitment to Uttar Pradesh at the Global Investors’ Summit 2023 in Lucknow. Reliance will invest ₹75,000 crore investment over the next four years, Ambani announced. Apart from PM Modi, defence minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath were present at the inauguration.
“In new energy, we will set up 10 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity — the largest in UP,” Mukesh Ambani said.
Praising PM Modi’s vision and finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s Budget 2023, Mukesh Ambani said India is on a very strong growth path. “There are four reasons behind my conviction: Indians are embracing technology at a rate unseen even in a developed world; India has the largest population of the youth; Thanks to you far-sighted leadership, regional imbalances are fast disappearing and Uttar Pradesh is a shining example of this, The divide between urban India and rural Bharat is also closing; You have brought about a fundamental change in the mind of the people, nobody in the world can question the fundamentals of the Indian economy,” Ambani said.
Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla in his address said India is poised to become the 3rd largest economy by 2030. “As a global group, we operate in 36 countries and I can confidently say that India today stands out among all of them,” Kumar Malnagalam Birla said.
