New Delhi: The power ministry on Friday said secretary Pankaj Agarwal met Bernard Fontana, Chairman and CEO of Electricite de France (EDF), where discussions centred around the deployment of the French utility’s EPR technology in the country, apart from evolving regulatory framework for the nuclear power sector, and cooperation on pumped hydro storage projects.The EPR nuclear reactor technology is a pressurised water reactor design.
