In INR terms, the reserves increased by Rs 1,19,945 crore during the week to Rs 67.32 lakh crore.
Foreign currency assets, the largest component of the reserves, rose by $9.946 billion to $574.625 billion during the week. Gold reserves increased by $3.995 billion to $108.738 billion, while special drawing rights (SDRs) rose by $79 million to $18.745 billion.
India’s reserve position with the International Monetary Fund increased by $116 million to $4.894 billion.
The country’s overall reserves have risen by $15.894 billion from the end of March 2026 and by $13.384 billion over the year.
