Google, Telangana govt launch Google for Startups hub in Hyderabad

Google, along with the Telangana government, launched the Google for Startups hub at T-Hub in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Google plans to engage with regional startups through the hub, which will offer free, yearlong coworking seats for selected AI-first startups and a curated set of venture investors.

T-hub, an incubation centre, is a public-private partnership between the Telangana government, three central academic institutes — IIIT Hyderabad, Indian School of Business (ISB), NALSAR Law University — and private entities.

The Google partnership aims to support startups through their journey from incubation to innovation. It will provide founders with a combination of physical infrastructure, hands-on mentoring, AI expertise, and global visibility through the Google for Startups network. Google and the Telangana government will jointly identify the startups to be onboarded.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that through the partnership, the state is laying the foundation of a globally competitive innovation ecosystem.

He added that Telangana is poised to become a launchpad for startups that are built for India and for the world. “This is more than infrastructure. It is a promise that ideas conceived in Telangana will have the mentorship, technology, and market access required to scale globally.”

Startups will get access to Google experts across AI/ML, product, UX, and go-to-market, who will conduct in-depth sessions for startups, student founders, and developers.
