India likely to allocate $227.5 million for exporters' credit guarantee in FY26



India’s credit guarantee support for exporters will require a budget allocation of Rs 2,000 crore ($227.54 million) for the fiscal year 2026, a government source told reporters on Thursday.On Wednesday, the country’s cabinet approved spending Rs 45,060 crore towards providing support to exporters, including Rs 20,000 crore in credit guarantees on bank loans.
