The company appointed Ishan Kansal as head of product and Ankit Srivastava as head of technology. Kansal joins from fintech company Cred, where he spent six years shaping product strategy across consumer verticals, while Srivastava previously led platform engineering at on-demand logistics platform Porter.
Additional leadership appointments include Anurag Meher, who was formerly with Cred and Swiggy, as head of data, and HK Sharma, an ex-Army officer and former vice president at Zomato, as head of trust, safety, and law enforcement.
These moves come amid plans to double the company’s workforce by FY26 across technology, product, operations, and growth functions.
“Snabbit is growing at double-digit rates week-on-week, and keeping up with that demand means delivering an exceptional customer experience, which needs to be powered by great tech and thoughtful products,” said founder Aayush Agarwal. “To build with technology at the core, it made perfect sense to move to Bengaluru, the heart of India’s vibrant tech ecosystem.”
Founded in 2024 by Agarwal, a former chief of staff of quick commerce company Zepto, Snabbit connects households with trained professionals for tasks such as general cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry, and is used by around 2.5 lakh households.
These professionals are available on demand and typically arrive within 10 minutes, with services billed by the hour. Snabbit operates a full-stack model, managing the sourcing, training, and deployment of its workforce.
The startup’s new Bengaluru facility, in Koramangala, spans 10,000 sq. ft. and houses 150 workstations. Snabbit said consolidating business, product, and technology teams under one roof will enhance cross-functional collaboration and support rapid execution.
In May, the startup raised $19 million in a funding round led by Lightspeed, with existing investors Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners also participating.
The company competes in a rapidly growing market alongside General Catalyst-backed Pronto and listed player Urban Company’s Insta Help.
Several Indian startups have moved their headquarters from Mumbai to Bengaluru, including Ola, Cred, and most recently, Zepto.
