Bengaluru-based 4baseCare—which offers oncology solutions for cancer care has launched operations in Dubai by establishing a genomics lab at Dubai Science Park in collaboration with Innovate Life Sciences.

“The recent USD 6 million fundraising from Yali Capital has played a pivotal role in fueling this growth and paving the way for further expansion into other international markets,” the company said in an official release.

The lab will provide genomic testing solutions, including comprehensive cancer gene panels, whole exome sequencing, and transcriptome analysis. “These advanced tools will enable oncologists to delve deeper into the genetic makeup of tumors, offering personalized and more effective treatment options,” 4baseCare added.

The company’s CEO, Hitesh Goswami, explained that the collaborative effort aims to manage the economic burden of cancer and expand access to cancer care. “The rising costs of controlling cancer are an undeniable challenge for the Middle East region. The long-term sustainability of oncology care will require collaboration among various stakeholders.” He added that this initiative will help clinicians and patients access the best that precision oncology has to offer in the region.

4baseCare also unveiled SoLiq—a solid-liquid NGS tests portfolio that combines solid and liquid biopsy technologies to give oncologists a holistic view of tumor biology.

“Genomics is essential to unlocking life-changing therapies, and 4baseCare’s partnership with Innovate Life Sciences, one of more than 500 industry leaders at Dubai Science Park, is a pivotal step in harnessing its potential,” Senior Vice President of Dubai Science Park at TECOM Group, Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi said.
