Harry and Meghan’s pact: Why children Archie and Lilibet won’t star in upcoming Netflix shows

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are navigating a delicate balance when it comes to their children’s public exposure. The Independent reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had differing views on how much spotlight should shine on their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, the couple’s perspectives on media exposure for their children have not always aligned. While Meghan agreed to bring children to the public eye through the Netflix show, Prince Harry has vehemently opposed it. However, it appears that Prince Harry’s stance has recently prevailed as a result of which, Archie and Lilibet will be kept out of the limelight in the couple’s forthcoming Netflix series.
In a bid to shield their children from media scrutiny, Meghan Markle has made a decision regarding her upcoming cooking show. Rather than filming at the couple’s £11 million mansion, Meghan’s show will be shot at a nearby mansion, the Sky news had reported.
The series will feature Meghan’s brand, American Riviera Orchard, and aims to highlight the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship without compromising her family’s privacy.
Meghan’s also paid a heartfelt tribute to children Archie and Lilibet in her recent trip to Colombia. During her visit to the Escuela Tambores de Cabildo—a school dedicated to teaching children drumming—Meghan wore a personalized ‘Imperial Disc Pendant’ by Ariel Gordon Jewellery. The necklace was adorned with the names of her children as a symbol of her dedication to her children.
