Bank holidays will be different in each state. Apart from national holidays, state governments designate bank holidays; banks are also closed on a few state-specific holidays.
Banks are closed in Mizoram on the occasion of Mizoram State Day on February 20 and on February 21 (Tuesday), Banks are closed in Sikkim on the occasion of Losar.
Even though banks observe holidays, bank customers will not experience any difficulties carrying out their banking-related duties if they have enabled net banking and phone banking. ATMs, cash deposits, internet banking, and mobile banking will all continue to operate as usual.
