King Charles writes to Trump after assassination attempt

King Charles on Sunday wrote to Donald Trump after shooting at his rally in Pennsylvania that killed the suspect and an attendee, the Associated Press reported.
The contents of the letter were not disclosed by the palace.
British PM Keir Starmer also called Trump and later denounced the violence, offered condolences to the victims and their families, and wished a speedy recovery for the former president and those injured, this message was conveyed.
“I am appalled by the shocking scenes at President Trump’s rally and we send him and his family our best wishes. Political violence in any form has no place in our societies and my thoughts are with all the victims of this attack,” he said in a post on X.

Donald Trump suffered injuries on his right ear after he dodged a bullet aimed at him by a 20-year-old shooter. He later issued a statement saying that he was “fine”.
