NEW DELHI: The first picture of Kate Middleton along with a message has been released by the Kensington Palace since the Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery.
The photo was posted was posted on the the social media accounts of ‘The Prince and Princess of Wales’ on Sunday.
The picture, credited to Prince William, shows the princess and her three children smiling and posing for the camera.It was posted with the caption, “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C”

Kate is not expected to resume her public duties until after Easter.
News came out on January 17 about a planned abdominal surgery when it was also told that the princess would be hospitalised for two weeks and then recover at home while clarifying that it was not cancer related.
Since then, the palace provided limited information about her condition, which sparked speculations on social media about the Princess’ health and whereabouts following which Kate’s spokesperson reiterated the royal family‘s statement immediately after Kate’s surgery which said that, Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.”
Meanwhile, on March 5, a photo of Kate Middleton went viral on media websites where the princess was spotted in the a passenger of a car driven by her mother, near Windsor castle.
