Consumer facing investment firm Fireside Ventures managing partner Kanwaljit Singh, sustainable stationery company Rescript cofounders Ashutosh Ananth and Naren Raj, and advertising firm Smile Group co-founder Manish Vij, all arrived in their Porsches — price tags: Rs 1.34 crore to Rs 1.93 crore.

The Mercedes, however, still remains a favourite among startup founders, from sedans like E200s to SUVs like GLE 400s, ranging from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1.75 crore. Woman ahead award winner Rashi Narang arrived in a Mercedes GLC200, whereas the winner in the Top Innovator category Vinod Kumar drove up a Mercedes E250.

Audis were a definite also-ran, with several A and Q series models, but the BMW didn’t seem to be as popular. And unexpectedly, electric vehicles were low on representation as well, with battery startup Log 9’s founder Pankaj Sharma driving an MG ZS, and Matrix Partners managing director Vikram Vaidyanath arriving in the high end Kia EV6.
