Meghan: Meghan Markle ordered William 'to keep fingers out of her face' during argument

Prince William allegedly confronted Meghan Markle with a pointed finger after she made a comment about Princess Kate‘s hormones, according to an excerpt from Prince Harry‘s book “Spare.” The incident, as reported by Mirror, occurred in the lead-up to Meghan and Harry’s 2018 wedding.

In the extract, Harry recounts that Meghan brazenly told Princess Kate she must have “baby brain” after the birth of Prince Louis, a comment that did not sit well. Following this, the four of them attempted to address the issue through a meeting, but it escalated into a dispute between Prince William and Meghan.
Tensions reached a point where Prince William reportedly raised his finger towards his sister-in-law’s face and strongly retorted, “Well, it’s rude, Meghan. These things are not done here.”

Unfazed, Meghan is said to have replied, “If you don’t mind, keep your finger out of my face.”
According to Prince Harry’s account, Kate wished for Meghan to apologize, and eventually, Meghan did apologize, explaining that this was how she interacted with her friends. Harry recounted this moment in his memoir after he and Meghan were invited over for tea.
This episode reportedly left Meghan feeling upset, especially since she had been cautioned that she was not sufficiently close to Kate to comment on her hormones.
Earlier, in a Netflix docuseries featuring Harry and Meghan, Meghan discussed her initial encounter with Kate, expressing her surprise at the royal family’s behind-the-scenes decorum. She mentioned that during their first meeting, she was in ripped jeans and barefoot, highlighting her hugging nature, which she learned was somewhat unsettling for many Britons. This observation was made in episode two of the six-part series titled “Harry & Meghan.”
“When Will and Kate came over, and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner. I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot. I was a hugger. I’ve always been a hugger, I didn’t realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits,” she said.
