Meghan: After Spotify, now Dior deal runs into trouble for Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle is not being signed by Dior for a multi-million deal, multiple news outlets have reported.
It was reported on Sunday that Markle “was on the brink of signing a major deal with the French fashion giant to make her a face of the company.” However, The Daily Telegraph’s royal correspondent Victoria Ward has tweeted there’s no such contract in the works.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform, Ward said, “The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks to sign a deal with Dior, sources insist. They say there is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house. They previously denied that a deal between Prince Harry and Dior was in the offing after he wore the label.”

Another outlet Page Six Style reported that all such claims about the deal with the luxury goods company remain unfounded.
The reports of the Duchess of Sussex not being signed by Dior followed hot on the heels of Spotify pulling out of its multi-million-dollar deal with her.

Times of India had reported on June 16 that Prince Harry and Meghan’s popular podcast “Archetypes” is coming to an end on Spotify, less than a year after its premiere. The couple’s production company has decided to part ways with the streaming service, the report stated.

On June 19, CNN reported that Spotify executive and popular podcaster Bill Simmons had hit out at Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, labeling them “grifters,” after their multi-year partnership with Spotify ended on Friday.
“Meghan hates being humiliated and rejected in front of the world. This feels like a face saver, let’s just leak this, try to divert attention from the Spotify deal,” Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told Sky News Australia, reacting to Dior deal cancellation.
